Thomas “Tommy” Lee Thurman, 66, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mom, Ella Mae Thurman; dad, Thomas W. Thurman; brother, Dennis Thurman; and nephew, Bryce Thurman.
Tommy is survived by his sisters, Joyce Thurman, Sandy Myers (Kenneth), and Kathy Padgett; uncle, Wayne Thurman; best friend, Samantha Byers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces.
He served in South Korea with the Army.
A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, 1250 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153, officiated by Rev. Jeremy Breaux.
