Thomas Nelson Mclain

Thomas “Tommy” Nelson Mclain, 46, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was born November 11, 1977, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Nelson Hubert Mclain.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary M. Pace.

Thomas is survived by his mother, Ruth Powell Mclain; daughter, Payton Nicole Mclain; sister, Jennifer Marie Mclain; niece, Megan Marie Farmer; and nephew, Tyler Jordan Pace.

Thomas was passionate about his job at the Davis Elliott Company. He loved working his job, and in his spare time he collected guns, loved to do yard work, and hunted.

The funeral will be Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 11:00 am at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jeff Evans officiating. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
