Thomas P. Wolfe

Thomas Phillip Wolfe, 95, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Sovah Health-Martinville. He was born on February 16, 1928, in Illinois to Oscar Wolfe and Mary Wolfe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his sister, Elaine Miller.

Thomas enjoyed working and farming, He retired from the state of New Jersey, as a state trooper.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Wolfe; son, Lanny Wolfe; daughter, Bonnie Alley; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Bassett Funeral Service chapel. Burial will follow at Henry Memorial Park.
