Timothy Lewis Beamer

Timothy Lewis Beamer, 63, transitioned from this earthly life Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in Bassett, Virginia. He was born January 22, 1962, to Janet Bales Goad and the late Allan Lewis Beamer in Waynesboro, Virginia.

He attended Fieldale High School in Collinsville, Virginia, and later went on to work as a trailer setter. Although gone from this life too soon, he will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Timothy is survived by his daughter, Shawna Dawn Beamer; sons, Joseph Wayne Beamer, Joseph Harley Swisher; sister, Tami Marie Vann (Bill); stepfather, Clyde “Barefoot” Goad; and grandchild, Trinity Shae Wingfield.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Stephen Chitwood officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Henry Memorial Park in Bassett.
