Tom Morton, Jr., 68, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born December 23, 1954 in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Tom Morton, Sr. and Ruby Smith Morton.He had been employed by AMP, Inc., Bassett Walker Knitting Company and Sara Lee Corporation.Tom is survived by his sons, Scott Morton and Tony Morton; brothers, Ricky Morton, Mike Morton and Wayne Morton; and seven grandchildren.All services will be private.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
