Tony Dewayne Gibson

Tony Dewayne Gibson, 58, of Troutville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 1, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Barbara Gibson; and sister, Terry Carter.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Tim Gibson (Kathy), Tammy Horton (Ricky), Tracy Severa (Roger), Tobbie Gibson (Patricia), Tina Harrell (Mike), and Thomas Gibson (Becky); his godson, Joesiah; special friend, Teresa; 2 fur babies, Trillion and Deisel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to Ashleigh Horton, Amber Lavinder (Joe), Tyler Severa, and Jayden Widner for their help during this difficult time.

A perfect day for Tony would be a quiet pond with lots of fish or searching the woods for a big buck. His success for hunting was on display in his home. Tony also enjoyed bringing old cars back to life, as well as spending time with his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 6:00pm at Gospel Light Baptist Church, 6307 Cloverdale Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.
