Tonya Kay Cromer

November 15, 1969 - April 21, 2025

Tonya Kay Cromer, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, at the age of 56, in her hometown of Blacksburg, VA. Born on November 15, 1969, Tonya's life was a testament to the love and joy she brought to everyone around her, especially that of her family which she sought to always spend her quality time with.

Tonya was a proud and dedicated assembler at MOOG Components for many years, where she not only excelled in her work but also formed lasting friendships. Her commitment to her job was matched only by her passion for her interests. An avid Bingo player, Tonya could often be found at local Bingo halls, where her infectious laughter and spirit of fun enlivened the games.

The love for her family was like none other. The time she would spend with her family bought her immense joy. Her love for her Boston Terriers was unparalleled, and the time she spent with her beloved dogs brought her immense happiness. Tonya's nurturing nature extended to her pets, and they were an integral part of her family.

Tonya's greatest joy, however, was her family. She is survived by her two sons, Dustin Huff, and Justin Huff and his wife, Heather; her four cherished grandchildren, Dusty, CJ, Aubrey, and Josh Huff; her caring brother, Ricky Cromer and his wife Kaye; her loving sisters, Joyce Jarels and her husband Bruce, and Jean Songer; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Tonya was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Allen Jackson Cromer and Zetta Poff Cromer, and by her niece, Casey Jarels.

Tonya's life was one of service and devotion to those she loved. She was a beacon of strength and support for her family, always there with a kind word, a listening ear, or a helping hand. Her sons, Dustin and Justin, will forever cherish the memories of their mother's unwavering love and the life lessons she imparted to them.

There are no services at this time for Tonya. A guestbook is available to send condolences to the family by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Cromer family.
