Torrance Charles Sneed

Torrance Charles Sneed, 53, of Fieldale, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Sovah Health-Martinsville. He was born on April 18, 1969, in Hahn, Germany to Maceo Elizabeth Staples-Sneed and the late Raymond Charles Sneed. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Geneva Hairston-Parker, and David Parker.

Torrance served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed racing Mustang cars and loved the Dallas Cowboys.

Surviving in addition to his mother are daughters, Cierra D. Sneed and Brooklyn Iman Sneed; grandchild, Julius “JuJu” L. Nance; brothers, Byron Sneed and Darren Sneed; aunts, Dorothy France and Daisy Hairston and the extend family from Rock Run, Hairston’s, Staple’s, Wade’s and Prunty.

The wake will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with a funeral service to be conducted at 11:00 am. The burial will follow the funeral service at the Staples Family Cemetery.
