Tracy Cook Owen

Tracy Cook Owen, age 50, of Danville, VA, passed away at her home on Friday, April 19, 2024. Mrs. Owen was born on November 20, 1973, in Danville to the late Nancy Aharron and the late Grover Cook. She was married for 18 years to Joe Beamon, who survives, of the residence.Mrs. Owen attended the First Church of the Living God and was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her flowers and was known to help anybody and never seemed to meet a stranger. She always had a heart of gold.In addition to her beloved husband, she is also survived by her sons, Cody Owen and Alex Beamon; her brother, Dwayne Cook; a grandchild, Ava Beamon; a great-grandniece, Zoey Oxendine; stepparents, Curtis and Debie Boyd; a nephew, Zack Oxendine and niece, Trinity Oxendine. In addition, she is survived by a brother-in-law, Gary Beamon, and her best friend, Chewy.A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA, officiated by Pastor Chris Williamson.Norris Funeral Services, Chatham Chapel is serving the family.
