Tracy Cope Gibson

Tracy Lynn Gibson, 52, of Wytheville, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026. She was a graduate of Radford University and a principal at Minnick School in Wytheville. Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Ingle Cope.

Tracy is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Kaitlyn Elaine Grimm (Gavin); cherished grandson, Slater Grimm; father and his wife, Rev. Gary Cope (Karen); twin brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Stacy Cope (Sunshine); sister and brother-in-law, Melissa Cassell (Paul); cats, Romeo, Samson, Lemur and Scrappy; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Tower of Refuge Church in Dublin. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. with Rev. Stacy Cope officiating.
