Trina Gail Williams
Trina Gail Williams, formerly of Mountain Lake, VA a cherished sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, in Blacksburg, Virginia, at the age of 58. Born on September 12, 1966, in Giles County, Virginia, Trina was a beacon of joy and kindness to all who knew her. Her love for life and her unwavering spirit were as noteworthy as the melodies of her favorite songs which gave her sweet joy.
Trina was the beloved sister of Peggy Williams, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond and countless cherished memories. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, Robin Hypes, Debra Ramos, Kenneth Southern, and a doting great-aunt to Brandon Harvey, Micah Ramos, and Briana Alonzo (Daniel). Trina's warmth and generosity also extended to her special friends, Rod Ramos and Debbie Harvey, as well as her devoted caregivers, April Caldwell and her family, who provided her with care and companionship during her final years.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Samuel Williams and Helen Meredith Williams, her sisters, Helen Renee Whitt and Barbara Southern, and her brother-in-law, Dale Southern. Their legacy of love and family values lived on through Trina's every action and word.
Trina's passion for music was one of the many joys in her life. The tunes of Elvis Presley and Lynyrd Skynyrd brought her immense pleasure, and she could often be found humming along to their classic hits. Her love for music was only matched by her love for a good meal shared with friends and family. She never passed up the chance to enjoy a Frosty from Wendy's or a milkshake from Dairy Queen. Beyond her interests, Trina's kindness was evident in how she valued the time spent with her sister Peggy and the numerous friends who would come by to visit. Her home was a place of laughter, storytelling, and companionship. Trina's presence made every gathering a little brighter, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the fortune to be part of her life.
