Troy Lee Neal

Troy Lee Neal, Jr. age 82 of Danville, VA passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Neal was born May 2, 1941 in Pittsylvania County to the late Troy Lee Neal, Sr. and the late Margaret Reynolds Neal Haas. He was married to Eleanor Holder Neal.

He was a member of Museville Christian Church. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy and retired from Goodyear with 34 years of faithful service. He will always be remembered as a humble and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to everyone who knew him.

In addition to his wife of the residence, he is also survived by three daughters, Donna N. Spyres, Dana Neal, and Leslie N. Briant (Jeffrey); one son, Michael Neal (Sarah); two step-sons, Tony Mills (Wendy) and Tracy Mills (Dana); two step-daughters, Crystal Sexton (Kevin) and Pennie Mills; seventeen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia N. Carlin and Juanita N. Eanes; and his brother, David Haas.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his first wife, Betty Rigney Neal; his beloved son, Troy Lee Neal, III; and his brother, Tony Neal.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Museville Christian Church with Minister Paul Secord officiating. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
