Troy Lynn Arrington

Troy Lynn Arrington, age 63 of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Helen Robertson Arrington and his brother, James Sherwood Arrington. Troy is survived by his nephews, James M. Arrington (Denise) and Steve Arrington; many cousins including, Shirley DeHart, Jeff DeHart, Susan Belcher (Donnie) and Bradley Belcher; special friends, Kelly Hall and Daniel Honaker and his furry friends, Sugga, Spooky and Brutas. Troy was formerly employed by Lane Furniture Co., Hooker Furniture and retired from Applied Felts Co. He was an avid Duke Basketball and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed watching wrestling and NASCAR racing. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024 with Pastor Derek Layman officiating. Interment will follow in the Robertson Family Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
