Troy M. Hollandsworth

God, in His infinite wisdom, closed the book of life on Troy M. Hollandsworth, Jr. on Sunday, February 25, 2024. He was born on July 5, 1946, in Franklin County, Virginia, to the late Troy Marion Hollandsworth, Sr. and Maude V. Cannaday Hollandsworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Revonda Perkins Hollandsworth.

Mr. Hollandsworth enjoyed reading his bible, playing his guitar, watching westerns on his TV, and spending time with family and friends. He attended Collinsville Church of Christ, where he served as an Elder for 9 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Hester J. Hollandsworth; a son, Matthew Hollandsworth; two brothers, Gary Hollandsworth, and David Hollandsworth; one stepsister, Jane Ball, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Collinsville Church of Christ, 2115 Daniels Creek Rd, Collinsville, VA 24078. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
