Tyler Vann Brown

Tyler Vann Brown, 75, of Ingram St., Danville, VA, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Tyler was born on February 22, 1950 to his late parents, Clair Jeanette Sellers and Randall Wilton Sellers. He was married to Brenda Hite Brown, who predeceased him in 2024.

Tyler was a proud member of the U.S. Army’s 4th Infantry Division and served in Vietnam. For many years, he worked, until his retirement, from Corning Glass Co., in Danville.

Survivors include four brothers, Nathan Sellers, Timmy Sellers (Wanda), Tommy Sellers, and Dale Sellers (Annie), as well as two sisters, Poogie Scearce (Donnie) and Jane Roberson. He is also survived by his goddaughter, LaPrecious Tarpley

In addition to his wife and parents, Tyler was predeceased by his son, Tyler Andrew Brown and a sister, Wilda Clear.

The family would like to extend their thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the members of American Post 1097 for their many acts of kindness shown toward Tyer.

At his request, there will be no formal funeral services scheduled for Tyler at this time.
