Valerie Robinson Miller

Valerie Robinson Miller, 73, of Vinton, passed away to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 22, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Anthony Miller; brother, David Robinson; and parents, Dale and Miriam Robinson.

Valerie is survived by her daughters, Anna Furlong and Olivia Miller (Kevin Compter); grandchildren, Dorian Compter, Cassian Compter, and Solvi Steinberg; siblings, Rosemary Oden, Patricia Derminasian, and Daniel Robinson (Wendy Warren); sister-in-law, Nancy Hostetter; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Valerie was a loving mother who had great humor and humility. She showed immense kindness and acceptance towards others. She will be greatly missed.

The family will have a Graveside Service on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11:00am at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 5070 Cove Road, Roanoke, VA 24017, officiated by T.G. Ayers.
