Vanessa "Dearl" Dillon Holland

Vanessa "Dearl" Dillon Holland age 85 of Wirtz went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2023 in the local hospital. She was bornon April 24, 1937 a daughter of the late Joseph Lewis and Geneva Horne Dillon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Quintin Holland; and a son, Melvin Jessie Holland; sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Dearl is survived by her son, Roger Holland; daughters, Hazel (Tommy) Arrington, Loretta (Dean) Rakes; granddaughter, Vanessa Conner; grandsons, Matthew and Michael Rakes; great-grandson, Dakota Woznik; brother, Melvin "Doc" Dillon (Dorothy); sister-in-law, Nancy Holland; special nephew, RD (Mary) Dillon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2023 with Pastor Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Ferguson Family Cemetery, Liberty Hall Lane, Witz. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
