Vaughn Eugene Parker

Vaughn Eugene Parker, Sr., 70, of Stuart, Virginia, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025. He was born February 28, 1955, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Curtis Taylor, Sr. and Yvonne Alice Parker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Miakiea Morris.

Vaughn was a member of New Bethel Christian Church and a hardworking talented man who spent many years as a painter and found great joy in home renovations. He was also a dedicated employee at Pro Auto Parts, where he worked for thirty years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, working on cars, gardening, and listening to music. Above all, he cherished his family and loved spending time with them. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, gentle spirit, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.

He is survived by his sons, Jermaine Parker, Vaughn Eugene Parker, Jr. ,Lawrence Morris, Walter Vanderberg; daughters, Tempest Watkins, Tamara Vanderbert; brothers, Curtis Taylor, Jr., Clifford Taylor, Antoine Taylor; sisters, Clishia Taylor, Charlene Taylor, Carolyn Lynn Washington; twenty-six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 3:00 PM, 111 Scott View Lane, Stuart, Virginia
