Vergie Lee Myers Nichols

Vergie Lee Myers Nichols, 95, of Advance, NC; formerly of Lynch Station, VA, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026.  She was born on Wednesday, December 24, 1930 to the late Ernest Myers & Cordie George Myers.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Jesse Nichols. 

Vergie was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and she loved her Lord.  Vergie loved singing hymns.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, William “Bill” Nichols (Joy); grandchildren, Michelle Blakemore, Billy Nichols, Phillip Nichols & Rebecca Nichols; Seven Great-Grandchildren & several other family members & several other family members.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Pastor Barry Link officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Family will receive friends one hour prior at the church.
