Vicki Hutchens

Ms. Vicki Farren Hutchens, age 69, of Covington, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at LewisGale Medical Center, Salem.
Ms. Hutchens was born September 12, 1954 in Raleigh County, WV, the daughter of the late Russell Farren and Nina Bailey Lugar. A longtime resident of this community, she was employed as a nurse by LewisGale Hospital, Alleghany for forty-three years prior to her retirement in October of 2020. Vicki was a member of Fincastle Baptist Church.
Ms. Hutchens is survived by a daughter, Tonya Via Gordon and husband, Greg of Covington; two grandchildren, Brandon Gordon and Kristen and Aaron Gordon and wife, Faith; a great grandchild, Brantley Gordon; two brothers, Mike Farren and wife, Teressa of Brookneal and Kenny Farren of Brookneal; a sister, Jackie F. Dobbins of Roanoke; and a number of nieces and nephews
A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Monday, February 5, 2024 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Wylde officiating.
