Vicky Llewellyn
Vicky Ruth Llewellyn, 68, died June 6th, 2024, at Centra General Hospital, Lynchburg, Virginia.
Vicky was pre-deceased by her parents Eugene T. and Edna R. Llewellyn, siblings Norma Johnson (and brother-in-law Don Johnson), Joyce Irwin, Ronnie Llewellyn, Eugene Llewellyn Jr., Vicky's life-companion Brent Frye, and her beloved-as-a-son dachshund Bubba.
Vicky is survived by her devoted sons Curtis David "Davey" Llewellyn and Terry Lee Llewellyn (and daughter-in-law Melissa "Mel" Possehl), daughters Tricia Ann and Angela Corraro, grandchildren Layne Picataggi and Brycen Llewellyn, her sister Linda Rader and brother-in-law Jerry Rader, brother-in-law Joe Irwin, sister-in-law Vicky D. Llewellyn, her uncle Ray Hayes, and many nieces and nephews.
Vicky is remembered for her broad and ready smile, bright blue eyes, her spontaneity and mischievous sense of humor, for her love for team sports like volleyball and softball (both participating and coaching), and for fierce loyalty to her family and friends. Purple was her favorite color, and she was known as the 'Purple Lady' to family and friends alike. Vicky especially enjoyed Christmas and holiday decorations and would begin setting up as early as November 1st!
Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee and a 1973 graduate of Doyle High School, Vicky traveled across the United States and abroad. Residing for over 35 years in Virginia Beach and Ocean View, Virginia, she retired to Pamplin, Virginia in 2022.
