Vicky M. Taylor

Vicky M. Taylor, 68, of Fieldale, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at her residence. She was born on March 28, 1955, to the late Elmer Martin and Lucille Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony Martin and Arlian Martin.

Vicky attended Reach Out Apostolic Tabernacle Church. She was retired after working at Drake Extrusions as a color technician. She enjoyed softball, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Vicky is survived by her husband, Kary Taylor Sr.; one stepson, Kary Taylor Jr.; two stepchildren, Kary Taylor III and Brittany Taylor; one aunt, Dorothy Hughes; two sisters-in-law, Margretta Taylor and Hattie Taylor; one brother-in-law, James Taylor Sr.; several special friends, Bernice Woods, Teressia Redd, and Sharonne Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel, with Bishop Lorenzo Hall officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service. A burial will follow in the Martin Family Cemetery on Tulane Drive.
