Vicky Stover Morgan

Vicky Lynn Stover Morgan, age 64, of 800 W. Ridgeway Street, Apt 107, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at her residence.
Vicky was born on July 15, 1959 in Clifton Forge to the late Dennis Ray Stover and Dora June Webb Stover. She was a homemaker throughout her life, and also worked as a private sitter. She loved being outdoors. Vicky had a green thumb, and she enjoyed riding horses, sewing, and spending time with family and friends who affectionately called her “River Rat”.
In addition to her parents, Vicky was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elwood Morgan.
She is survived by two daughters, Shannon D. Trimble (Alan) and Kristie DePriest (Joshua); a son, Joseph A. Stanley (Whitney); a step daughter, Melissa M. Christian; a step son, Robert E. Morgan II (Danielle); two sisters, Nina June Linkenhoker and Sandra Faye Vanlear; a brother, Dennis Ray Stover; twelve grandchildren, Jenna Smith, Eric Kincaid, Erika Kincaid, Justice Smith, Layla DePriest, Kayla DePriest, Nautika Jack, James Osborne, Jr., Dylan Osborne, David Osborne, Kaylee Elmore, and Jude Stanley; seven great grandchildren, McKinlee Lewis, Adalyn Lewis, Augusta Lewis, Delilah Kincaid, Lauren Gailmard, Colton Gailmard, and Naomi Smith; and two special friends, “Old Soul” Savannah Montgomery and Donita Franklin.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
