Victoria Simmons

Ms. Victoria Renee "Vickie" Simmons, age 67, of Clifton Forge, died Saturday, January 4, 2025, at her residence.
Ms. Simmons was born June 23, 1957 in Virginia, the daughter of the late Edward Gillman Simmons and Dorothy Leighton Simmons. She was a lifetime resident of this community. Following her high school graduation, Vickie went on to attain her master's degree in education. Ms. Simmons then went to work as a teacher and educator for the Alleghany School System. Vickie truly enjoyed teaching and even after her retirement continued to work with children within the school system. She was a member of Covington Baptist Church.
Ms. Simmons is survived by a brother, Edward Lee Roy "Eddie" Simmons and wife, Nancy of Covington; a nephew, Justin Sizemore (Ashley Burns); a great niece, Kaleigh Sizemore; and a special aunt, Bea Leighton.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
