Viedell Lewis Crane

Viedell Lewis Crane, 96, of Dry Fork, VA passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023, while a resident of Chatham Health and Rehab, Chatham, VA. Mrs. Crane was born February 15, 1927, in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late Dollie Coleman Lewis and the late Havanna Shelton Lewis. She was married to Vernie Crane, who also predeceased her.

Mrs. Crane was a member of Oakland Community Church, Blairs, VA, the Ruritan Club of Dry Fork, VA and retired from Disston manufacturing.

She is survived by her son, Danny W. Crane (Cathy) of Dry Fork, a brother, Jerry Coleman Lewis of Ringgold, VA, a granddaughter, Kimberly Crane and grandson, Justin Crane both of Dry Fork.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Crane was predeceased by three sisters, Ruby L. Cundiff, Edna Earl Shelton, and Mildred L. Oakes.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Oakland Community Church Cemetery, 180 Snakepath Rd, Blairs, VA 24527 officiated by Rev. Walter Yancey.
