Vinney Stewart Foley

Vinney Stewart Foley, 93, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away on Friday, November 28, 1925. She was born on January 12, 1932, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Harry L. Stewart and Virgie Ziglar Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harry “Wes” Stewart, Charles W. Stewart, Leroy Stewart, and Earnest Stewart; her sister, Louise Rogers; and her grandson, Jerry Dalton.

Vinney was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life centered around home and family. She was a faithful member of Stanleytown Amazing Grace Baptist Church and found great peace in her faith. She was happiest in the comfort of her home and cherished time spent with loved ones.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph Foley; her daughter, Geraldine Hylton (James); grandchildren, Debra Coleman (John), and Donna Bennett (Steve), Len Hylton (Kim); her great grandchildren, Courtney Bennett (Jose), Chris Bennett (Maddie), Miriam C. Crowe (Aaron), and Dustin Hylton (Emily); and her great great-grandchildren, Luke Hylton and Antonio Padilla. She is also remembered with love by extended family members and many dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 12:00pm at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
