Violet Maxine Reynolds

Violet M. Reynolds, age 88 of Rocky Mount, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. She was born April 11, 1936 to the late Foster (Mack) and Mae McCloud. Violet was also preceded in death by her husbands, William S. Reynolds and Hubert Lee MtCastle; her son, Christopher Lee MtCastle; brothers, Otis McCloud, Junior McCloud, Floyd McCloud and Jack McCloud; sisters, Louise Shively, Emma Jean Farmer and Ramona Bower. Left to cherish her memory are three sisters, Vivian Jenkins, Novella McDaniel and Bonnie Edwards; brother, Ronnie McCloud (Amanda), Roger McCloud (Elizabeth); sister-in-law, Carolyn McCloud (Otis), along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 with Pastor John Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Boones Chapel Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
