Virgie Rothwell

Virgie Eloise Weade Rothwell, age 80, of Clifton Forge, Virginia and formerly of Buchanan, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at her residence.

She was born January 26, 1943 in Botetourt County, Virginia to the late Allie Elwood Weade and Annis Louise Young Weade.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ellis Rothwell; a daughter, Anita Frazier; a sister, Glory Day; and a brother, Monte Weade.

She is survived by her children, Charles Rothwell Jr. and wife, Yanqiu, Karen Rothwell, Jeffery Rothwell and wife, Teresa, and Jody Rothwell; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Unroe.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 2:00PM in Springwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Pete Moore officiating.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to any charity of your choice.
