Virginia "Ginny" Kay Thelan

Dr. Virginia Kay (Ginny) Blevins Thelan , 76, of Moneta, Virginia went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.She was born October 7, 1949 at Holden, WV to Florence and Everett Blevins, Sr.She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Dr. Kenneth M Thelan on February 16, 2026.Survivors include sisters Libby Saulton (Jerry) of Huntington, WV and Ruby Richardson of Chapmanville, WV;brothers Ralph Blevins (Kathy) of Holden, WV, Carl Blevins (Becky) of Chapmanville and Everett (Ed) Blevins, Jr. of Milton, WV.;sister-in-law, Anne Thelan of Michigan and brothers-in-law, Andy and Dale Thelan of Florida;six nieces and three nephews and many friends and wonderful neighbors.Ginny was a member of Franklin Heights Church of Rocky Mount where she enjoyed being a choir member for many years.Funeral services will be conducted at Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 11,2026 at 1:00pm. Visitation will take place at 12:00, one hour before services. Pastor Stan Parris will be officiating the service.
