Wanda Grant Campbell
Wanda Grant Campbell (Maw Maw) of Forest, Virginia, passed away peacefully and found her place with the Lord on November 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 3, 1955, Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was the daughter of the late James and May Grant.For 53 beautiful years, she shared her life with her beloved husband, Robert C. Campbell Sr. Together, they built a family and home filled with love, laughter, and memories that will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Wanda’s kindness and warmth touched all who knew her; she was known for her gentle spirit and steadfast support to all who were blessed to call her family.Wanda was a dedicated and loving mother to her four children: Robert C. Campbell Jr. (Olivia) of Lynchburg, James E. Campbell (Lee Ann) of Madison Heights, Marcus F. Campbell (Becky) of Madison Heights, and Jeremiah D. Campbell (Jessica) of Amherst. She was also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, delighting in her grandchildren and the special moments they shared. Her legacy of love and compassion lives on in each of them.Wanda is also survived by her husband, her sisters, Diane Campbell and Phillis Cheatham, and her brother, Harold Grant, along with her many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and May Grant; her brothers, James W. Grant Jr. and Sydney M. Grant; and her brother-in-law, Kenneth W. Campbell.A celebration of Wanda’s life will be held at the family residence at a later date, where family and friends will gather to remember the light she brought to their lives.The family extends their gratitude to Whitten Timberlake Chapel for their support during this time. Wanda will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
