Wanda Joyce Keen

Wanda Joyce Keen, 71, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 9, 1953 to the late Christine Louise Martin and the late James Evine Martin. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Leonard Lee Keen.

Wanda was of the Christian Faith and a member of Church of God of Prophecy. She worked for many years as a CNA previous to her retirement.

In addition to her husband, Wanda is survived by a son; Chris Bates of Blairs, VA; a step Daughter; Amy Lawson (David); two brothers; Roger Martin (Linda) and Danny Martin (Pam); two sisters; Carolyn Cooper (Paul) and Vickie Bowen (Stanley), 2 step grandchildren; Destiny and Piper Lawson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was predeceased by two brothers; Jerry and Larry Martin; and a sister in law; Linda.

A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 2:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Brother Wayne Murphy and Sister Becky Moss officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on the same day prior to the service from 1-2:00pm also, at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA.
