Wayne Lyle Kulm
Wayne Lyle Kulm, 79, of Lynchburg passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.
Born in Mobridge, South Dakota, September 19, 1945, he was the son of the late Albert and Hattie Kulm.
Wayne proudly served his country in the US Army after being drafted during Vietnam. He later continued his military career in the US Air Force Reserves, retiring in 2005. Following his military service he went to work for the National Park Service, working on The Blue Ridge Parkway. In both the military and the Park Service, Wayne was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Kulm of Evansville, Indiana; his son, Thomas Kulm; his brother, Loren Kulm; two grandchildren, Jazzlyn Kulm and Josie Kulm and one great grandson, Averi Kulm-Pupoh.
Two brothers, Darrell Kulm and Keith Kulm, and one niece Esther Hagel preceded him in death.
