Wendy Marlene Albert Coffey
WENDY MARLENE COFFEY, 58, of Graham’s Forge, VA, went faithfully home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 2, 1966 in Pearisburg, VA, the daughter of James Eugene Albert & Nancy Wiley Albert.
Wendy was kind, compassionate and had a huge heart, especially for helping others. She always put everyone else before herself and never worried for herself. She spent her life helping others.
Wendy graduated from Giles High School. She worked at Pascor Atlantic for over 37 years. She loved bluegrass music and taking rides on the side by side.
She loved her family and all children, and she will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband and companion of 16 years, Clarence Woodrow Coffey, Jr.; her father, James Eugene Albert; her mother, Nancy Wiley Albert; her sons & daughters-in-law, C.C. & Amber Coffey and Levi & Caeley Coffey; her step-daughters, Missy Brown and Ashley Draper; 10 grandchildren; her brothers & sisters-in-law, Jamie & Heather Albert, Matthew Albert; her sister & brother-in-law, Nikki & Dwight Collins; her sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Sheena & Garry Dalton and Barbara & Steve Lawson; her beloved nieces & nephews, Josh & Shannon Collins, Emily Collins & Jeremy Crow, Malachi Collins, Natalie Collins, Aniah Collins, D.J. Albert, Sam Albert, Shane Albert, Garrett Lawson, Jared Lawson and Brooke & Brandon Huff; special great-nieces, Laurel, Charlotte, Clara and Madeline; special friends, Debbie Shrader, P.J. and the entire Pascor Atlantic family; her special pet companion, her dog, Gypsy Rose; and many other extended family members and friends, too many to list.
Per Wendy’s wishes, she has been cremated. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Pastor David Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 P.M. until service time, 4:00 P.M.
