Wilford "Randy" Raymond Scott

Wilford "Randy" Scott II, entered his eternal rest Saturday, June 7, 2025, in Bassett, Virginia. He was born in Keyser, West Virginia, to the late Wilford R. Scott and Bertha Joanne Montgomery Moyers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford Scott (Zell), Joanne Moyers (Ber); sister, Darlene Brant; and brothers-in-law, Bobby Brant and Jerry Kusluch.

Randy was of the Christian faith and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was known by those who knew him as a family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandsons, often taking them fishing and watching them play baseball. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, along with working in his flower gardens or in his shop. He was a Redskins fan who enjoyed supporting his team. Randy was a simple man who liked to be in the mountains where he could enjoy the peacefulness of nature.

Those who have been left to cherish and honor his memory are his loving wife, Marge Scott; daughters Stephanie Ryan (Craig), Heather Nusz; sister, Tami Jo Kusluch; grandsons, Jacob, Micah, Lucas; nephews, Jamie Brant (Jamie), Scott Brant; great nieces and nephews, Megan Huckabay (Johnny), Cody Brant, Blair Brant (Keyanna), Tyler Brant (Chelsea), Scott Brant, Brianna Brant, Rachel Brant, Kaylynn Brant, R.J. Brant, Jocelyn Brant, D.J. Brant, Anthony Brant, Christian Brant, Wilson Brant; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in memory of Randy Scott to Faith Baptist Church, PO Box 871, Bassett, Virginia, 24055.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church in Bassett, Virginia. A visitation will be held one half hour prior to service.
