William Mann "Bill" Ballentine, 80, of Roanoke died Tuesday, August 13, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Julia Stahl Ballentine; brothers, John and Horace Ballentine; and nephews, Bobby and Ian Ballentine.
Bill was a 1962 graduate of William Fleming High School and attended Virginia Tech.
Surviving is his life partner, Patricia Owen; sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Jerry Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
The family will honor Bill's request that there be no formal funeral services.
