William "Bill" Smith Brandon

William “Bill” S. Brandon Jr. of Blanch, NC. was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Bill, as he was known to his friends and family, was born October 26, 1941, in Danville, VA. to the late Marjorie Brandon and the late William S. Brandon Sr.

Bill was a man of deep was Christian Faith and was a member of Providence Baptist Church, of Providence NC. Bill worked as a general contractor for more than 30 years, during which time he obtained his building license, realtor license and his home inspection license and took great pride in his work. As a member of Providence Baptist Church Bill served as a Deacon of the church, he also served as a Gideon of the Caswell Camp.

Bill is survived by his sons Vaughan Brandon and Scott Brandon and his wife Michelle Brandon, his cousin Terri and her husband Michael Carlisle, as well as numerous cousins and very dear friends.

In addition to her parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lydia "Tish" Brandon, and his brother Lee Brandon.

A graveside service will be held at Cedars Cemetery, North Broad Street, Milton NC on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mitch Cifers and Pastor Lee Cook officiating. A visitation honoring Bill will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, 5762 Walters Mill Rd, Providence, NC 27315.
