William C. Webster

William C. Webster, 82, of Salem went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stonewall and Effie Webster. His sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita MacIntosh (Mac) and Sharon Smith (Homer).  He is survived by loving wife of 59 years, Linda, loving daughter, Sherri Leonard; two brothers, Donald (Susan) and Irvin (Jonny); and many nieces and nephews.

He retired from Roanoke Memorial Hospital as head maintenance painter.  He also ran Webster Painting.

A celebration of Life will be held at Lotz Salem Chapel at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2023, with Pastor Debbie Hutton officiating.  The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. before the service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Richfield for taking good care of Bill, treating him like family.  Also, Good Samaritan Hospice.  Bill will be buried on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
