William "Chris" Christopher Walker

Mr. William Christopher “Chris” Walker, age 52, of Stuart, VA passed away at Woltz Hospice Home on November 26, 2024. He was born on September 28, 1972 to Danney Joe Walker and the late Connie Louise Bowman Walker. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Curtis Bowman and Anice Ruth Bowman; paternal grandparents, Joseph Edward Walker and Betty Jean Hatfield Walker; and two sisters, Ruby Eastridge and Becky Bowman. Chris attended New Beginning Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all loved and adored his daughter and family.

Mr. Walker is survived by a daughter, Izabella Walker of Stuart, VA; his father, Danney Walker; four brothers, Joey Walker (Lisa) of Stuart, VA; Leonard Bowman (Carol) of Stuart, VA, Melvin Bowman (Tammy) of Claudville, VA, and Kenneth Bowman (Evon) of Claudville, VA, and four sisters, Charlene Briggs of Stuart, VA, Kathy Dean (Mike) of Mayodan, NC, Carolyn Bowman of Stuart, VA, and Judy Land of Stuart, VA.

Funeral services for Mr. Walker will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, VA with Pastor Dewayne Troutt officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mary Horner Walker Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
