William "Jeff" Meador

William Jeffery Meador (Jeff), age 83, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, March 30, 2025, at Carrington Cottage, surrounded by all his girls. He was born on January 24, 1942, a son of the late Haynes Wilson and Hazel Lorraine Meador.

Jeff was preceded in death by his wife Robin Duncan Meador and is survived by his daughters Regina Ierardi (Paul), Catherine Ferrell (Kenny), and Kristi Doolan; Grandchildren, Dustin and Shane Ierardi, Kacee Ferrell Custer (Mitch), Lena Ferrell, Kayla Dowdy, Jade Doolan, Kale Doolan (Ainslee); Great Grandchildren, Bellamy and Persephone Ierardi, Keelan and Kynley Dowdy, Kenna, and Adley Nichols; and longtime girlfriend and companion Flora Smith.

Jeff retired from General Electric and was an active member of Mason Cove Church of Brethren in Salem. He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding in his green 1948 Ford truck, being outside, and being with his church family.

The funeral service will be conducted at noon on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Rader Funeral Home in Daleville with the family receiving friends from 11 am to noon. A private burial will follow the funeral service in the Roselawn Memorial Garden, Christiansburg.
