William McCoy

William Marcus McCoy, 81, of Independence, Virginia, died on September 15, 2023, at the Grayson Rehab & Health Center. He was born on July 11, 1942, in Independence, Virgina to the late Bruce McCoy. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Marie Ratcliff Mccoy; his daughter, Dawn M. Franklin; two brothers, Johnny McCoy and Tommy McCoy.

William is survived by his four sons, Jason Mark Kenny, William McCoy III, Mickey McCoy Roberts, Robert Bruce McCoy Jr.; one daughter, Patricia Ballinger, his four sisters, Virginia McCoy, Ruth Ann McCoy, Sallie McCoy, and Penny White, and his three brothers, Danny Joy McCoy, Jimmy McCoy, and Lawerence McCoy; 8 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
