William "Tommy" Thomas Willis

William "Tommy" Thomas Willis, Jr. passed away on December 1, 2024, at Lynchburg General Hospital

William was born on July 10, 1946, to the late Mr. William T. Willis, Sr. and Mrs. Lizzie Horsley Willis. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Delores Barber Willis.

William was a graduate of Whitmell Farm Life School. After school he worked a short time at Ennis Business Forms before starting a long career in the agricultural industry as a self-employed tobacco farmer.

William is survived by his two sons Gary Willis (Ashley), and Michael Willis (Kristy). One brother Andrew “Ray” Willis (Karen); two sisters Kay Self (Tom); and Lorraine Vaughn (Johnny); four grandchildren Kristopher Thomas, Michaela, Kaleb and Peyton.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM by the Reverend Daryl Joyce at the Willis Family Cemetery 301 Flamingo Road Dry Fork, VA. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 6-7:30 PM at the Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel and at other times the family will be at the home of Gary and Ashley Willis.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Liberty Baptist Church.
