Willie Junior Martin

Mr. Willie Junior Martin, 78, of Cana, VA, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Carroll County, VA, on February 18, 1945, to the late Willie Andrew and Flora Mae Hawks Martin. Mr. Martin retired from Cross Creek Apparel. He is survived by a daughter, Amy L. Martin; sons and daughter-in-law, Dean Martin, Clyde and Linda Martin; grandchildren, Keenan Gaddy, Haley Martin, Zoe Martin. In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Lee Bryant Martin. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Cana Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Vass and the Rev. Pete King officiating. Burial will follow in the Cana Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
