Willie Norman Dove

With faith in God's promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of Willie Norman Dove Jr., who departed this life on March 25, 2025, at the age of 58. Willie was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, whose presence brought joy and warmth to all who knew him. Born on July 28, 1966, Willie was the cherished son of the late Wayne and Kathy Perdue and the late Willie "Buddy" Dove. He grew up surrounded by the love of his siblings, Tony and wife Dawn Dove, Patrick and wife Sabrina Dove, Mendie and husband Tommy Cook, and Rebecca and husband Cameron Whitman. Willie’s greatest joy in life was his son, Norman Dove, whom he loved deeply. He shared a special bond with Norman and his girlfriend, Katie Martin. He also found great pride and happiness in his nieces and nephews: Jeffrey Dove, Griffin Dove, Katlyn Dove, Nyoka Cook, Elyn, Reece, and Camden Whitman, as well as his great-niece, Rayna Dove. Willie was also blessed with lifelong friendships that brought him laughter and companionship. Among his dearest friends was Fredrick “Eric” Mullins, along with many others who shared in his journey and treasured his kindness, humor, and loyalty. His friends and family will forever remember his warm spirit and the countless good times spent together. A celebration of Willie's life will be held later in the spring. The family appreciates the love and support from all who knew him during this difficult time. May he rest in peace, surrounded by love everlasting.
