Wilma Pauline Roberts Duncan

Wilma Roberts Duncan, 85, of Martinsville, Va. passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024. She was born in Galax, Va. April 8, 1939 to James Monroe Roberts and Annie Ingasol Roberts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her seven brothers.

Wilma is survived by her husband, Michael Lee Duncan; son, Tony “Radar” Patton (Tereasa); grandchildren, Tori Martin (Bobby), Lance Patton (Shannon) and Genna Patton; great grandchildren, Madison Martin, Kayleigh Patton, Cadence Patton and Tretton Agee; sister, Lena Rose Patton; many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins; Brandie Emerson and Savana Brown, whom she raised as if they were her own grandchildren; and her furbaby cat, "Baby Girl."

Wilma worked at W.M. Bassett Furniture as an inspector for over 30 years. She loved watching basketball games and NASCAR races, especially when her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was driving. She also liked working in her vegetable garden.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the funeral home and will be officiated by Pastor Curt Ashley. An interment at Mountain View Cemetery will follow the service
