Yomia Jean Clark

Yomia Jean Clark, 72, of Stuart, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 4, 2026. She was born on May 1, 1953, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Paul Angle Clark and Vesta Lorene Clark, who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff Clark and Jerry Clark.

Yomia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished her family deeply. She retired after many years of dedicated service from Bassett Walker. She was known for her quiet strength, loving nature, and unwavering dedication to those she loved most.

Yomia enjoyed crocheting, working crossword puzzles, yard work, tending to flowers, and spending time with her family and friends.

Yomia leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Eric Joyce and Neal Joyce (Kim); her grandson, Eric Joyce, Sr.; her three sisters, Paula Cox, Janice Clark, and Wanda Wooten; her brother, Timothy Clark; and a host of extended family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
