Zola Phyllis Wright

Zola Phyllis Carter Wright, 83, of Patrick Springs, Virginia, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024. She was born May 26, 1941, in Virginia, to the late William C. Carter and Effie Hughes Carter.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Kermit Elwood Wright; daughter, Victoria Darlene Purdy Wray; sister, Zada Joyce; half-sister, Sarah Ann; and brother, Martin Carter.Zola was a member of County Line Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed catching up with her friends over breakfast at Robert’s Best Way. She enjoyed being outside, gardening her flowers, mowing, and farming. She loved to travel; especially to West Virginia to watch horse races and enjoyed taking shopping sprees. Zola had a huge loving heart, and held a special place for her cat, little bit.She is survived by half-sisters, Mildred Humphries, and Katherine; grandchildren, William “Tommy” Purdy (Kim); and great grandchildren, Jasmine, Kadence, and Madison.All services will be private.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
