Steven B. Kelley, 73, of Roanoke, passed away on May 22, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon C. Kelley; parents, Richard B. Kelley and Ercell W. Shepperd; stepfather, William A. Shepperd; brother, Stanley D. Kelley; brother in-law, Farren Webb.

He is survived by his children; Kim Patterson (Mike), Terry Kelley (Vannessa); grandchildren, Christopher Kelley (Julia), Caitlin Martin (Austin), Alexander Patterson, Kelly Patterson; great grandchildren, Landon Kelley and Nora Kelley; sisters, Donna Quesinberry (Chester), Karen Webb (Craig); brother, David Kelley (Jody); wife, Caroline Kelley; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 1- 2 pm, Friday, July 10, 2026, at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke, 1001 Franklin Road SW Roanoke, VA 24016, with a service at 2pm. Burial will be at Bandy Cemetery with military honors.
