Jesse Hughes Perkins

Jesse Hughes Perkins Jr., 79, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026. Jesse was born in Miami, FL on July 29, 1946, to the late Mabel Reeves Perkins and the late Jesse Hughes Perkins Sr. He was also predeceased by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Carmen Perkins.

Jesse was of the Christian Faith. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, and worked for many years as a mail sorter for the U.S. Postal Service.

Jesse is survived by a son; Michael Perkins; a sister; Mary Crider; and a close friend; John Foote.

In addition to his parents and wife, Jesse was predeceased by three step brothers; Perry, Gerald, and William Perkins.
