Sidney C. "Buddy" Jones, Jr.

Sidney C. Jones Jr. "Buddy", 77, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 he was forn July 22, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents; Sidney C Jones Sr. and Catherine Jones ; sister, Norma Jean English; loving wife of 46 years, Margaret Kingery Jones.
He is survived by his son; Sidney "Cliff" Jones III and Stanley Jones of Vinton; daughter, Cynthia Gayle Brizendine and husband Michael of Blue Ridge; brother, Ray Jones and wife Becky of Roanoke; grandchildren, Zachary Overstreet of Blue Ridge and Britney Kozlowski and husband Mackie of Fincastle; great grandchildren, Natalya, Athena and Amelia; special friends, Cora "Koi" Moorman, Mark Wolford.
Buddy loved fishing and hunting. He was an avid reader, He retired from Yellow Freight as a long-haul truck driver after 30 years of service.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Monday December 20, 2021 at Lotz Vinton Chapel. there will be a graveside service 2pm.m Tuesday, December 21, 23021 at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
