Ann Carole Tabor Light

Ann Carole Tabor Light, 81, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Guy Edison Tabor and Mazie Geraldine Gardner Tabor. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Auburn Light; brother, Buddy Tabor and nephew, Joshua Tabor.

Surviving are her two sons, Auburn Light, Jr. (Kelly) and Doug Light (Melissa); one daughter, Sheri Light and partner, Steve Morgan; sisters, Barbara Flora (Ben), Judy Tabor and Margaret Armstrong (Tommy); sister-in-law, Jeannette Tabor; grandchildren, Alex Light and fiancé, Christine, Austin Light and Bethany Morgan; nieces and nephews, Keaton Tabor, Judith Tabor, Michele Davis (Buddy), Rebecca Armstrong, Meghan Armstrong, Jessie Tabor; great-nephew, DaShawn (Kati); special friends Carol Routt, Brenda Routt, Kaye Weddle and Twila Metz; numerous other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Lotz Funeral Home, 305 East Washington Ave., Vinton. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Sherwood Memorial Park in the Abbey with Pastor Tommy Armstrong officiating.
